Thank you for coming to my presentation entitled "Using Every Day Technology to Accommodate Students with Exceptionalities" at the OKCEC Conference on March 1, 2013.


The point of this presentation is how to engage regular education teachers in the adaptive technology process by encouraging them to be aware and to try to a include students in their classroom using technology that everyone has.

Universal Access Demo
This is demoing the last version of Mac OS assistive technology (prior to Mountain Lion _ the version I demoed).. This will do a similar demonstration if your Macs are older. It is on MacWorld's website and cannot be embedded.

VoiceOver on iPad Demonstration

When voiceover is on, you can use it with books, without choosing to speak.. you can just slide your finger down the page. the reading of the book is still available through a menu for any user without assistive settings.
